Watercolor paintings have been around since the 18th century. Watercolor paintings were first found in Egypt and also England, its refered to all pigmants mixed with water rather then oil. Watercolor paintings are vulnerable to sunlight, dust, and contact with glass surfaces, but the use of modern pigments has made it much more stable.
